Contaminació de l’aire

Segons l’Organització Mundial de la Salut, es calcula que set milions de persones moren cada any a causa de l’exposició a la contaminació de l’aire.

No obstant això, la contaminació de l’aire no només afecta greument la salut humana, sinó també la salut dels animals i la vegetació. A les ciutats, el trànsit és una de les fonts més significatives de contaminació de l’aire, i necessitem la participació activa dels ciutadans per afrontar el problema. Dins del projecte MULTIPLIERS, es donarà suport a l’alumant perquè prenguin decisions basades en l’evidència ciència i esdevinguin ciutadans responsables. Començant a Espanya, estudiaran com millorar la qualitat de l’aire a les ciutats mitjançant la recollida i anàlisi de dades, i discutiran amb científics, experts en salut global i altres grups d’interès rellevants.
