To inspire people and professionals across the WHO European Region, the World Health Organisation is sharing stories of #AMR (antimicrobial resistance) throughout the coming year as part of a special campaign. Together they are breaking the silence and raising awareness about the increasing and serious threat of antimicrobial resistance.
The work of the MULTIPLIERS Open Science Community in Cyprus was showcased in the first week of the year, when the WHO social media accounts featured a story from science teacher Melina Chrysostomou. In addition, a story cube with Melina’s quote was displayed at the United Nations City in Copenhagen, Denmark.
You can read Melina’s story below. And don’t forget to follow @whoeurope to hear more from people who have a real #AMR story to tell!
