Biodiversitätsschutz und Landwirtschaft

Gleichzeitig Biodiversitätsschutz und die Ernährungssicherung für den Menschen zu gewährleisten, ist eine der großen Herausforderungen unserer Zeit.

Menschliche Eingriffe in die Natur beeinflussen die biologische Vielfalt. Hierbei spielt besonders die raditionelle Landwirtschaft eine zentrale Rolle. Landnutzungsänderungen, der Einsatz von Pestiziden und Maßnahmen zur Krankheitsbekämpfung führen zu einem drastischen Rückgang von Pflanzen- und Tierpopulationen.

Wie können wir ein Gleichgewicht zwischen dem Schutz der Biodiversität und der Ernährungssicherung finden? Mit welchen Konflikten sehen wir uns bei der Bewältigung dieser Herausforderung konfrontiert?

Die Schüler*innen von MULTIPLIERS in Deutschland treffen Expert*innen aus den Bereichen der (ökologischen) Landwirtschaft und Biodiversitätsforschung, um verschiedene Perspektiven und mögliche Lösungsansätze kennenzulernen.
