Καθαρό νερό και αποχέτευση

Η διαχείριση των υδάτων είναι ζωτικής σημασίας για τη βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη γιατί το καθαρό γλυκό νερό και οι υπηρεσίες αποχέτευσης είναι απαραίτητες για την ανθρώπινη υγεία και την ευημερία.

Το νερό δεν τρέχει από τη βρύση ως δια μαγείας και τα λύματα πρέπει να συλλέγονται και να υποβάλλονται σε επεξεργασία: αυτό γίνεται μέσα από μια πολύπλοκη διαδικασία με τη χρήση διαφόρων σωλήνων και υλικών, μηχανημάτων, εγκαταστάσεων, προηγμένη τεχνολογία, συνεχή ποιοτικό έλεγχο, μηχανήματα, και ενέργεια. Ενώ έχει σημειωθεί σημαντική πρόοδος για να επιτευχθεί μια ολοκληρωμένη διαχείριση των υδάτινων πόρων, δισεκατομμύρια άνθρωποι εξακολουθούν να μην έχουν πρόσβαση σε ασφαλές πόσιμο νερό και αποχέτευση. Το MULTIPLIERS, ξεκινώντας από την Ιταλία, επιδιώκει τη συνεργασία μεταξύ σχολείων και κοινοτήτων ώστε να ενισχυθεί η επιστημονική κατανόηση για τη διαχείριση των υδάτων και τη βιωσιμότητα. Μαζί θα αναλάβουμε συγκεριμένες δράσεις για να ενθαρρύνουμε βιώσιμες συμπεριφορές ώστε να προστατεύσουμε τους υδάτινους πόρους και να διαφυλάξουμε το περιβάλλον.
