Čista voda in sanitarije

Upravljanje voda je ključnega pomena za trajnostni razvoj, saj sta čista sladka voda in sanitarne storitve bistvenega pomena za zdravje in dobro počutje ljudi.

Voda ne priteče iz pipe po čudežu, odpadne vode pa je treba zbirati in čistiti: to pomeni dolge in zapletene procese, ki vključujejo cevi in naprave, najsodobnejše tehnologije, stalen nadzor kakovosti, stroje, materiale in energijo. Čeprav je bil dosežen znaten napredek pri celostnem upravljanju vodnih virov, milijarde ljudi še vedno nimajo dostopa do varne pitne vode in sanitarij. S projektom MULTIPLIERS, ki se bo začel v Italiji, bodo šole in skupnosti sodelovale pri izboljšanju znanstvenega razumevanja upravljanja voda in trajnosti. Skupaj bomo izvajali tudi konkretne ukrepe za spodbujanje trajnostnega vedenja za varčevanje in zaščito vodnih virov ter varovanje okolja.
