Hur kan vi bättre hantera bakterier som är resistenta mot antibiotika?

Överväldigande bevis visar att ökad användning, överförskrivning och överkonsumtion leder till en ökning av antibiotikaresistenta bakterier. Men många människor överanvänder och missbrukar antimikrobiella kemikalier eftersom de saknar kunskap om infektioner och antimikrobiella medel – en kritisk fråga runt om i världen som påverkar vår hälsa och sätter våra liv på spel. Ett viktigt steg mot att ta itu med denna fråga är därför att ta upp den i klassrummen och genom informerade åtgärder. MULTIPLIERS kommer att starta aktiviteter på Cypern och engagera studenter och deras familjer att utveckla en djupare förståelse för ämnet genom förstahandsupplevelser med relevanta intressenter, vilket i slutändan gör det möjligt för dem att fatta bättre informerade beslut om användningen av antibiotika.
