Vaccination

Why do people remain unvaccinated? Globally, vaccination programmes have repeatedly led to heated debates.

Starting in Germany, MULTIPLIERS will look deeper into the examples of several vaccination programmes such as the one against Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), which targets specifically teenagers.

Our students will discover different perspectives, including the two often-conflicting aims of protecting public health and individual autonomy at the same time. Activities include meeting experts and science professionals, e.g. from the University Hospital in Bonn, collecting data and information, and discussing both benefits and effects of vaccinations.
