Luftföroreningar
Enligt Världshälsoorganisationen dör uppskattningsvis sju miljoner människor varje år till följd av exponering för luftföroreningar.
Luftföroreningar har dock inte bara allvarliga effekter på människors hälsa, utan även på djur och växtlighet. I städerna är trafiken en av de största källorna till luftföroreningar, och vi behöver medborgarnas aktiva engagemang för att ta itu med problemet. Inom MULTIPLIERS kommer eleverna att få hjälp att fatta vetenskapligt grundade beslut och bli ansvarsfulla medborgare. Med start i Spanien kommer de att fundera på hur man kan förbättra städernas luftkvalitet genom att samla in och analysera data och diskutera dem med forskare, experter på global hälsa och andra relevanta intressegrupper.
